This Privacy Notice applies only to the Arbor Collective venture studio Services listed above. Each product or company we create will publish its own, separate Terms and Privacy Policy, which will govern users of that product.

1) Personal Information We Collect

a) Information you provide directly

  • Contact & identifiers: name, email, phone number, company, role.
  • Communications: messages you send us (e.g., forms, email inquiries, applications), newsletter preferences, event RSVPs.
  • Careers & collaboration: resumes/CVs, portfolios, and similar application materials (if you submit them).

b) Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device & usage data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, and general location (country/region).
  • Cookies & similar tech: pixels, SDKs, and tags used for analytics, performance, and (where enabled) advertising measurement.

You can control cookies via your browser settings and any cookie banner on the Site. If you block cookies, some features may not work.

c) Information from third parties

  • Analytics & marketing partners may provide aggregated insights (e.g., campaign performance, conversions).
  • Social platforms if you interact with our pages or content (subject to their policies).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive Personal Information through the Site (e.g., health, precise geolocation, government IDs). Please do not submit sensitive data to us via open forms or email.

2) How We Use Personal Information

  • Operate and improve the Site and our communications.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information you request (e.g., newsletters, venture updates).
  • Plan and run events, waitlists, and programs.
  • Measure and enhance performance, traffic, and engagement (analytics).
  • Market Arbor Collective (e.g., email updates you opt into, measurement of our ad campaigns).
  • Protect the Services, prevent fraud and misuse, and comply with law.
  • Support a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent (e.g., marketing emails/SMS), our legitimate interests (e.g., security, analytics, improving the Services), and/or our legal obligations.

3) SMS/Text Messaging (Your Consent & Controls)

If you provide a mobile number, we may send:

  • Informational texts you request or that relate to your interaction with us (e.g., event updates, waitlist confirmations).
  • Promotional texts only if you opt in.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your carrier for details.

We do not add you to SMS marketing without your opt-in. We may use providers to deliver messages on our behalf.

4) How We Share Personal Information

  • Service providers: vendors that host the Site, send emails/SMS, provide analytics, security, or customer support (bound by confidentiality and data-use restrictions).
  • Legal & safety: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a corporate transaction (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale).
  • With your consent: if you ask us to share or otherwise consent to sharing.

We do not sell Personal Information and do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under certain U.S. state laws.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data for any lawful purpose and we will not re-identify such data.

5) Cookies, Analytics, and Ads

  • Essential functions (e.g., page load, security).
  • Analytics (e.g., page performance, traffic sources).
  • Advertising measurement (e.g., understanding whether our campaigns led to site visits, without identifying you to advertisers).

You can manage cookies in your browser and via any cookie banner we provide. Some browsers and extensions offer Global Privacy Control (GPC); where legally required, we will treat a valid GPC signal as a request to opt out of certain data uses.

6) Retention

We keep Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above (e.g., while you subscribe to updates) and as required by law. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify information. Backup copies may persist for a limited period.
